Welcome to the web page for Fort Wayne's top dance studio, The Fort Wayne School of Dance! Founded in 1968, the studio is excited to celebrate 35 years of business.

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and healthy place for our students to make new friends and develop discipline, strength, and self-confidence. The end result is a positive self-image.

Amy's Place (by Vivian Miller, FWSD student)...

I go up there three nights a week
Always making sure to bring my dancing feet.
There are twenty stairs to get up to this place
Then I walk right in with a smiler on my face.
I go into class and start to stretch
Not laying at home with tmy dog playing fetch.

There is a TV on, with a camera in the back
A radio a rollin', searching for tracks.
With kids in every room dancing all around
This place is always filled with lots of sound.

There are five dance rooms, large and small too
I am not making htis up, it's totally true.
With a counter up front to talk or a snack
When it's time to leave I can't wait to come back!
